It is the warm room where the users used to have a massage as well as interesting debates or just to get some rest, exhausted by the steam of the hot room. For that reason, it was vital to have enough space and also a heating system to keep the room hot. El hypocaust of the tepidario is connected with the caldario which directly receives the heat from the oven.
The floor was covered with water coming from the caldario.
It is a bigger room than the previous one (frigidario) although it maintains the same distribution and uses the same technical recourses. It was in this room where the religious community had installed the kitchen of the convent.From that area, there is access to the hot room, the caldario.
